Salman And Katrina Are Still Friends

Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan’s split tale might have done the rounds worldwide but the two still remain good friends as per the reports. This is why Katrina Kaif was spotted visiting Salman Khan to wish him for his birthday, two days in advance which was on December 27. His ex-girlfriend Katrina took out time from her shooting schedule to wish him before he went for the trip. Well Katrina was also spotted on Bigg Boss Season 4 to promote her film Tees Maar Khan . She was sporting enough to smile while Salman joked about Ranbir Kapoor on the show.

Bollywood director Rajkumar Santoshi thought of approaching his hit romantic comedy, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, pair Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. The filmmaker approached the stars of the movie with a script to make a sequel, calling it “Ajab Haseena Ghajab Deewana”. But Kat refused to do the film.

Salman Khan Celebrates Birthday in Dubai (27 December 2010)

For a landmark birthday, it’s got to be a landmark city.

For Salman Khan, then, Dubai is where he’s chosen to celebrate his 45th birthday, so he can kick back and relax.

The star posted a message to his fans on his Twitter page on Sunday: "On ma way to dubai. Wish u all a v happy new year."

Khan normally spends the big day with family at his farmhouse in Panvel outside Mumbai, but this year, he has flown into the shiny emirate with 45 of his friends.

"Salman didn't want to bring in his birthday at the farmhouse this time. Though it rocks for the guests, his family members end up playing hosts and don't enjoy themselves. So, he decided to have them party without the headache of taking care of everyone," sources in Bollywood told media in Mumbai.

It’s an idea he got from childhood friend and fashion designer Anna Singh, who celebrated her 40th birthday with a thumping party at the Raffles hotel last December. “Dubai is convenient, it’s close to India and everything’s set up for you there – it’s a great escape for a short break for the Bollywood crowd,” another of our sources said.

And for Khan, the emirate is his second home. The actor is no stranger to Dubai, nipping in regularly for everything from a bit of shopping to the occasional plastic surgery.

Salman, his parents Salim and Salma besides Helen, his sisters Arpita, Alvira with husband Atul Agnihotri and brother Sohail with wife Seema and son Nirvaan arrived in the UAE on Sunday.

The source added: "We have planned a special surprise for him on his birthday. Though he knows that we are all in Dubai, we want to make it very special for him this year."

Sajid Nadiadwala and his wife Wardha and David Dhawan flew in yesterday afternoon. The guests are all staying at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Dubai."

Khan is set to fly back on December 30 to continue work on the TV show ‘Bigg Boss’.

Salman Khan Teams up With Farah Khan

Salman Khan is all set to star in Farah Khan’s next directorial venture, says the grapevine. Salman Khan did a cameo in Farah Khan’s latest film Tees Maar Khan star cast Akshay Kumar & Katrina Kaif and that is when the idea popped up in Farah’s mind to make a film with Sallu Bhai.

Farah says that if ever she makes a film with Salman Khan then it will be a mad film as two mad people can do wonders together. ‘I’m mad and Salman is madder,’ laughs Farah.

So, with this latest development, the speculation about the rift between Sharukh Khan and Farah Khan proved to be correct as the latter teamed up with SRK’s arch rival Salman Khan. Hence proving the age old adage, there are no permanent friends and enemies in tinsel town!
